The Lauberhorn race in Wengen last weekend saw the past record of 98mh beaten four times. The fastest man was the French skier, Johan Clarey. He came 5th.

Fritzski is correct, the Wengen downhill is the course where the downhillers hit the fastest speeds on the men’s FIS downhill race courses. They haev broken 100 mph. The fastest I’ve got on record is 60 mph and there is a infleciton about 2/3 the way down the run I was on and at 60 mph you could really feel the hill push up on you.
